The RWD configuration remains standard, and the 4WD will be optional configuration. Furthermore, a part-time 4WD is included, which will reduce fuel consumption.
The estimated fuel economy for the forthcoming model is 13 mpg in the city and 17 mpg on the highway. Well, the fuel economy is one of the main issues with the Japanese full-size SUV. The company must offer a hybrid powertrain soon, and try to resolve the fuel economy problem. Toyota is planning to introduce more hybrid and electric vehicles by 2023. Release Date and Price
2021 Sequoia will arrive on the market in November. There will be five trim levels available: SR5, TRD Sport, TRD Pro, Limited, and Platinum. As for the price, the base model will start a little higher than the current version. Therefore, we expect that the 2021 SR5 will cost around $51,000. On the other hand, the range-topping Platinum will come close to the $70K mark.
