After months of waiting, the first-ever Aston Martin SUV was presented last year at the LA Auto Show. The British ultra-luxury carmaker needed a whole century to come up with something that sits higher compared to a regular car and it looks like the start of production is just a matter of time. According to the latest reports, this will happen already in the summer, when we are about to see the all-new 2021 Aston Martin DBX.
As you may presume, the 2021 Aston Martin DBX will be ultra-luxurious in every aspect. The styling takes a lot of inspiration from the company’s legendary models, while the cabin is all about leather. On the other side, you may once again count on AMG’s versions of a familiar V8 engine, which promises excellent performances.

The British carmaker needed a vehicle like this so badly. The famous brand has always been famous for luxury sports cars but such vehicles don’t sell as they used to. These days, it’s all about crossovers, so this move was expected. Moreover, most luxury manufacturers already came up with such a vehicle. So, it was just a matter of time when Aston Martin would do the same.
One look at the new 2021 Aston Martin DBX and you can see lots of influence from the company’s famous models. Although we are talking about a crossover, the front end closely resembles models like Vantage and DB11. The whole shape is definitely coupe-like, while the profile line is very sleek, so you may definitely count on excellent aerodynamics.
Speaking of the mechanics, one of the key features is the new suspension setup, which includes adaptive triple volume air suspension with a 48V electric anti-roll control system (eARC) and electronic adaptive dampers.
Interior

2021 Aston Martin DBX Engine and Performances
As we’ve just mentioned, the 2021 Aston Martin DBX will also use AMG’s familiar 4.0-liter V8 engine. Still, it will be specially tuned for this occasion, so a max output will go around 542 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. Of course, the engine will come in pair with a 9-speed automatic transmission, which sends power to all wheels. Also, you may count on things like an active central differential and an electronic rear limited-slip differential. All in all, such a setup promises nothing but spectacular performances. According to the manufacturer, this crossover will need just around 3.5 seconds to hit sixty, while the top speed should go over 180 miles per hour.

We expect to see 2021 Aston Martin DBX pretty soon, sometime this summer. We already now that base models will go around 189.000 dollars.
